The Canopy top fabric is made from a "black-out" material that will keep your guests cool during hot sunny days - no sun gets through the top, so more protection from the sun. Will a Canopy fit in my yard?
When measuring your yard space, you need (a minimum of) 8 feet more than the size of the Canopy tent in both directions. That means a 20 x 20 needs 28 x 28 Feet of space, and a 20 x 30 needs 28 x 38 feet. This space is needed so that the stakes are a minimum of 4 feet away from the Canopy on all sides. This will allow the ropes to have enough tension to tighten the Canopy top without pulling stakes out of the ground.
If the ground is very soft, and the stake pulls out, or if there is a rock or root in the way, just move the stake further away from the tent and hammer it in (Note: stakes that are placed too close to the edge of the tent may pull out).
